At the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi at Villanova, we are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community where all our members feel supported. We acknowledge that sororities have historically been predominantly white, heteronormative, and discriminatory, and we strive to positively impact the sorority community at Villanova.
We are dedicated to adapting our chapter bylaws, recruitment processes, and educational components to reflect our understanding that our efforts will always need to evolve. This includes changing chapter policies to be more inclusive.
As part of our commitment, we recognize the importance of education, conversation, and action in encouraging each member to embrace inclusivity and be proud sisters of Alpha Phi both within and beyond our chapter. We appreciate the beauty of diversity and recognize the privilege of our positions, pledging to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in our daily lives.

Education
​Alpha Phi established the Stand Together programming initiative to educate members on the importance of inclusivity and to foster an environment where all individuals feel welcome and valued. Through this program, members are encouraged to build authentic connections and cultivate a sense of belonging in which individual differences are respected and supported. Stand Together provides educational resources that enhance cultural competence and promote open, respectful dialogue around anti-racism and social responsibility.
